About G33 Clones
Gelato 33, sometimes nicknamed “Larry Bird,” is a standout selection from the original Gelato lineup bred by Sherbinski in collaboration with the Cookie Fam. The result of a cross between Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, Gelato 33 is known for its exceptional balance of flavor, structure, and visual appeal. Among the many numbered Gelato phenotypes, 33 rose to prominence for its refined combination of dessert-like sweetness, vibrant coloration, and resin production.
This cultivar produces dense, medium sized flowers with deep green and purple hues, accented by electric orange pistils and an icy coat of trichomes. Morphologically, it tends to grow as a moderately compact plant with strong lateral branching and stacked internodes, making it ideal for controlled environments and dialed-in canopies.
Aromatically, Gelato 33 is layered and complex. It blends sweet cream, berry, and citrus zest with subtle undertones of mint and earthy baked goods. When grown to its full potential, the aroma is loud, lingering, and instantly recognizable. The flavor mirrors the nose, with a smooth, dessert forward profile that has made it a favorite in both flower and extract markets.
Gelato 33 helped launch the modern dessert cultivar wave and remains a foundational building block in today’s exotic genetics. Its influence can be found in many of the most hyped crosses of the last decade, where it contributes structure, bag appeal, and an unmistakable terpene signature.
