Loud Dream Candy #77

About Loud Dream Candy Clones

Loud Dream Candy is a cross of the Santa Cruz cut of Blue Dream and Double Lemon Cherry, bringing together one of the most recognizable legacy California cultivars with a more modern candy and gas expression. The Santa Cruz Blue Dream contributes its classic blueberry-forward character, floral sweetness, earthy musk, and vigorous structure, while Double Lemon Cherry adds brighter confectionary notes, citrus complexity, resin production, and additional aromatic intensity.

This particular selection separates itself through a pronounced gas and thiol-driven element layered underneath the sweeter fruit profile. The aroma opens with ripe blueberry, sweet candy, and soft floral notes before developing into sharper accents of fuel, citrus peel, and a distinctive sulfurous thiol character. That thiol component gives the nose additional lift and intensity, creating a sharper, almost nose-tingling edge that keeps the profile from becoming overly sweet.

Structurally, Loud Dream Candy retains much of the vigor and favorable architecture associated with the Santa Cruz Blue Dream. Plants show moderate internodal spacing, strong lateral branching, and good vertical flower stacking. The inflorescences develop with a favorable bract-to-leaf ratio and can form substantial colas under optimized conditions. Many expressions are capable of strong yields without sacrificing resin coverage or aromatic intensity.

Loud Dream Candy represents a meeting point between legacy California genetics and contemporary candy-forward breeding. The blueberry and earthy musk of the Santa Cruz Blue Dream remain clearly recognizable, but the Double Lemon Cherry pushes the aromatic profile toward brighter candy, citrus, gas, and thiol-driven complexity, giving this selection a distinctly modern edge.

Loud Dream Candy Flavors

Dream Candy opens with a sweet blueberry and mixed-berry candy aroma, followed by bright citrus and soft floral notes. As the profile develops, a sharper layer of fuel and thiol-driven funk comes forward, adding a pungent, almost tropical sulfurous edge beneath the sweeter fruit character. Subtle earthy musk and lemon peel round out the profile, creating an aroma that is sweet, sharp, gassy, and distinctly complex.
