About Perm Head Clones
Perm Head is a cross of Headband and Permanent Marker, combining the unmistakable character of classic gas varieties with a more modern aromatic and visual expression. The aroma is strong and immediately recognizable, led by deep fuel, chemical gas, and earthy notes, while the Permanent Marker influence adds a sweeter, more contemporary layer of complexity.
Morphologically, Perm Head is a large, vigorous plant with strong hybrid vigor and excellent overall growth. It develops substantial branching, good flower stacking, and highly resinous inflorescences with impressive trichome coverage. Color expression can be exceptional, with deep green foliage giving way to darker purple and violet hues as the plant matures under the right conditions.
One of the cultivar’s stronger production traits is its resilience. Perm Head has shown good resistance to common pest and pathogen pressure while maintaining vigor throughout the flowering cycle. The combination of size, frost production, color, and aromatic intensity makes it a strong candidate for both premium flower and commercial cultivation.
Perm Head feels familiar without being dated. The Headband side brings the heavy, old-school gas character many growers associate with classic fuel-forward varieties, while Permanent Marker adds a modern layer of sweetness, depth, color, and resin production. The result is a large, frosty, highly aromatic cultivar that bridges classic gas genetics with a contemporary expression.
Perm Head Flavors
Perm Head opens with a deep, penetrating gas aroma layered with earthy kush, chemical fuel, and a subtle rubber-like sharpness. As the profile develops, sweeter notes of candy, cream, and light floral musk come through from the Permanent Marker influence, giving the classic fuel character a more modern edge. The overall aroma is loud, dense, and persistent, with old-school gas at the core and a sweeter, more complex finish.
